EXTman 1.0 RC3 released

We are pleased to announce the availability of the third release candidate for our new EXTman extension for Joomla 1.5 and 2.5.

This new release candidate brings a number of fixes and new features based on the feedback we received.

  • We have updated our Joomlatools Framework to 1.0 RC3,
  • We have introduced Twitter Bootstrap and refactored our javascript to use jQuery. This makes all our extensions forward compatible with Joomla 3.0.
  • We also introduced a dependency checker which allows for checking required dependencies when installing extensions through EXTman.
  • Finally we improved the install procedure to be able to recover from failed installs and we implemented workarounds for a number of Joomla installer limitations.

Second release candidates are here!

We are happy to announce that we just pushed out the second release candidates of our new extensions – FILEman, LOGman and EXTman.

Over the past weeks, we have worked hard at optimising the code. We resolved different smaller issues that where reported and worked especially hard on the browser testing of FILEman in Internet Explorer. There are still a few issues left to fix on Joomla 1.5, but FILEman is now fully working in Joomla 2.5 on all versions of IE.

All our new extensions work on both Joomla 1.5 and 2.5. Just download one package and install on both versions of Joomla. Simple.
